Great views of the
city. It is a little more expensive, but worth the attraction.
If you go up to the observation deck you might as well pay the extra
600 yen to go to the special observation deck (about 100 meters
higher). The view at night is spectacular! In a circular room
you can view the city lights through a telescope.
There
is a little park on the bottom floor with giant stuffed pandas for the
children to ride. Also, all of the girls that work on the main
floor wear 1960's style airline stewardess outfits to add to the fun
and atmosphere. The Tokyo Tower is a must see when visiting the
city.

First And Then The Asakusa Shrine!

Even if you've been
to every temple in Kyoto and are sick to your stomach at coming to
Tokyo to see another, Sensoji is worth seeing. Its long arcade of
shops leading up to it is unique and it has a 5-story pagoda of which
there are only a few left in Japan. From the Asakusa shrine it is a short walk
to the Sumida River where you can take a river boat ride. Or just take
a walk on the bridge and enjoy the sights including the Asahi beer
building on the other side. Also nearby is a Hanayashiki, a small
amusement park. It's seen better days but it's interesting to check
out especially if you have kids with you.
